TwinLight™ and SmoothEye™
Fotona Smooth Eye
The delicate eye area has always been a difficult area to treat with many injectable treatments and laser procedures avoiding this delicate area.
The eye area is one of the first places to reveal signs of aging. At Wise Medical Laser we offer Jan Marini Cosmeceuticals to assist you in caring for the eye area. To complement this, the revolutionary Fotona Smooth Eye treatment, an effective and non-invasive treatment that addresses the common problems around the eye including crow’s feet, loss of volume, loss of elasticity and puffiness. The treatment tightens the skin and has little to no downtime for most people, however, there may sometimes be some mild swelling, redness or dryness afterward. Before treatment, a local anesthetic cream will be applied to minimise discomfort and cool compresses may also be used if required. Smooth Eye can be performed as a stand-alone treatment or in conjunction with other treatments. This can be discussed at your consultation. Three treatments are recommended at 4 weekly intervals.
TwinLight Fractional Rejuvenation is a simple 3-step procedure optimized to significantly improve skin smoothness and give it a fresher, healthier look. It is a gentler alternative for treating fine lines and wrinkles and melasma with minimal downtime and clean natural results. Treatments can extend from light touch-ups to deep collagen remodeling, ideal for patients who want drastic rejuvenation effects, but are not inclined towards aggressive surgical or chemical alternatives.
Past skin rejuvenation procedures treated large areas of the skin, whether it was aged or not. But with TwinLight Fractional Rejuvenation, the laser light precisely targets only areas of the skin where skin aging has occurred, leaving the surrounding healthy skin untouched. The heat from the laser energy also stimulates the production of new collagen in the dermis because the surrounding, untreated skin speeds the rejuvenation process. This treatment is suitable for all skin types and tones, with a downtime period of approximately 7-10 days. The number of treatments depends on patient factors. Often for more superficial pigment, only one treatment is required. For deeper damage, a course of 3 treatments spaced approximately 4 weeks apart may be required. Another factor may be the length and severity of downtime that you are prepared to put up with. Many patients may prefer not to have any downtime after treatments, in which case more sessions of lighter TwinLight can be performed.
